Three centuries ago, Nymphenburg Palace was the main summer residence of the Bavarian rulers, a Baroque castle surrounded by 490 acres of parkland eight kilometers west of Munich. Over the years, residences of the same style have been added to the estate and last month one of them opened for private rental after two years of renovation. But it’s not just a private villa rental. Part of The Langham Residences, the alternative hotel program of luxury hotel company Langham Hospitality Group, the Langham Nymphenburg Residence includes hotel services as part of the experience.

The 9,000 square feet 18e The mansion of the century features four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three lounges to expand, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a fitness center, a conference room, a home theater and a wine cellar. On site staff can organize gondola rides on the Nymphenburg Canal, private tours of the castle, picnics in the residence gardens or ice skating when the river freezes. And the limousine is always available if customers need to travel to Munich for business or shopping.
