Royal Caribbean Unveils Epic 274-Night ‘Ultimate World Cruise’ Across 7 Continents

Clear your schedule, because Royal Caribbean has just announced the most mind-blowing cruise on the bucket list.

The cruise line unveiled a brand new “274 nights”Ultimate World Cruise”Starting in December 2023, it’s really a world tour. Sailing aboard the Serenade of the Seas, passengers will reach all seven continents, totaling more than 150 destinations and 65 different countries.

“This is the world cruise of world cruises,” said Michael Bayley, CEO and President of Royal Caribbean International. “Today more than ever, people have decided to travel the world and make up for lost time. Royal Caribbean is making it a reality with the ultimate vacations that welcome those looking for adventure and exploration to taste, dance and dream with us across the world.

Ultimate World Cruise Schedule and Prices

Sailing will depart on December 10, 2023. Serenade of the Seas will depart Miami and will not return until approximately nine months later, on September 10, 2024.

If that’s too long for you, the 274-night trip breaks down into four different segments, which can be individually navigated:

  • Tour of the Horn (Americas & Antarctica): 64 nights with 36 destinations
  • Wonders of Asia and the Pacific: 87 nights with 40 destinations
  • Treasures of the Middle East & Wonders of the Mediterranean: 63 nights with 44 destinations
  • Capitals of Culture: 63 nights with 40 destinations

So what might you see on the cruise? It might be easier to list things that you wouldn’t see.

From as far south as Antarctica to northern Greenland, the journey is truly global, reaching every corner of the planet. Highlights include the opportunity to visit the Great Wall of China, Petra, Machu Picchu, the Pyramids, Chichen-Itza, the Taj Mahal and more.

Dubrovnik, Croatia, along with over 150 other destinations, is part of the Ultimate World Cruise.

So how much will it cost?

The list price for an interior stateroom on the Ultimate World Cruise is $ 60,999 per person – about $ 220 per day. The rates go up from there with the higher level rooms. Cabins with balconies start at $ 78,999 per person.

Want a suite? While Royal Caribbean requires interested parties to call for prices for many suites, the Junior Suite has a list price of $ 111,999 per person.

If you want to save some money, there is a 10% discount if you pay in full before January 2023.

What is included in your rate and how to book

Machu Picchu is just one of the many wonders you can explore on the cruise.

Of course, with this hefty fare, you get a truly unique trip. However, other benefits are included. Royal Caribbean offers business class airline tickets to the port for passengers, as well as transportation from the airport to the hotel before travel, and then to the ship. The cruise line also includes a five-star pre-cruise hotel and an exclusive gala to attend.

On the ship you will receive the luxury drinks package during the cruise. Wi-Fi, tips and laundry are also included in the rate.

And if you have Platinum Crown & Anchor Society status, you also get shore excursions to the “New 7 Wonders of the World” of Chichen-Itza, Christ the Redeemer, Machu Picchu, Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Petra and the Colosseum.

Reservations are open today for Crown & Anchor Society Diamond level clients and above. Royal Caribbean says these members have an “exclusive week-long window” until Oct. 26 to book by calling 800-423-2100.

Reservations will be available later to other passengers, including the option to book individual portions of the Ultimate World Cruise on their own.
