Goa Tourism organizes a roadshow in TN

Panaji: After citing a good response to three [email protected] themed roadshows held in Ahmedabad, Udaipur and Varanasi in northern India, the fourth Goa government roadshow kicked off on Friday in Madurai, the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu. Inaugurating the event, Goa Tourism Director Nikhil Desai said the roadshows are mainly aimed at showcasing the “numerous and spectacular advancements” made by the state government in various sectors and also to improve business tourist. Desai said he would increase attendance and flow of tourists, including both domestic and foreign nationals, roadshows were held at various locations around the country. He urged people of Tamil Nadu to visit Goa and added that “Goa is very vibrant, blessed with natural and scenic beauty.” Among those present at the inauguration were SM Sribalamurugan, District Tourism Officer, Department of Tourism, Tamil Nadu; Deepak Narvekar, Assistant General Manager and PRO Goa Tourism with Prakash Naik, Information Officer, Shyam Gaonkar, Assistant Information Officer, Information and Publicity Department, and Prasad Kavlekar, Director, Marketing, Tourism Department.
