ACE Power Promotions has secured sponsorship from the La Palm Royal Beach hotel to promote its boxing events.
The two sides jointly signed a memorandum of understanding at the La Palm hotel in a brief ceremony in Accra.
Commenting on this partnership, La Palm Hotel Marketing Director, Mr. Valentine Appiah was pleased that La Palm was the hotel of choice for APP promotions in Ghana and expressed his hotel’s willingness to do more to move the course forward. boxing in Ghana. For his part, ACE Power Promotions (APP) Managing Director, Mr. Isaac Amankwah expressed appreciation for his outfit at La Palm for agreeing to partner with APP to promote boxing in Ghana. He noted that promoting boxing in Ghana is a very expensive business and needs the support of Ghanaian fans and businesses.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kizito Akudago noted that such a partnership was needed to give equal attention to other sports in Ghana and especially boxing which has given Ghanaian sports so much more. He expressed APP’s willingness to support the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) to enhance the image of sport in Ghana and beyond.

The first event resulting from this partnership will see APP promote three title fights on October 16, 2021 at The Palm Royal Beach Hotel. These include a World Boxing Organization (UBO) super light international title, an UBO intercontinental featherweight title and Ghana’s first national featherweight title.
